Description

Bayou Bend's Family Learning Days are ideal for home school families in search of an educational experience for their family which includes art, history, and nature. Children ages 6 - 18 are admitted for $5, and accompanying parents and younger siblings are free.

Our next Family Learning Day event, Life in Colonial America, will focus on aspects of daily life in the American colonies, including dressing and eating, hobbies, games, and chores. What were the responsibilities of children during this time? How were you expected to behave? What opportunities were available to interact with people your own age?
