The Heritage Society invites you to join us for Finding maS notsuoH, a historic scavenger hunt held downtown, in Sam Houston Park. Houston history buffs and knowledgeable novices alike will be challenged to decipher a set of cryptic clues, use the answers to find a variety of historic objects, and then snap a digital picture of each to complete the hunt. In the search to find each hidden item, participants will venture across Sam Houston Park, inside some of Houston’s oldest historic structures, and through the city’s intriguing past. Go it alone, or tackle the task in teams of two, but be swift! Prizes will be awarded to those who successfully complete the challenge in the shortest amount of time. Only a few history savvy sleuths will win, but all participants are invited to enjoy drinks and light hors d'oeuvres following the event, in The Heritage Society’s museum gallery. Participants must register in advance and must bring a digital camera or smartphone, a flashlight, a keen eye, and a sharp mind. Registrants must be 21 years old to attend.
