As she was driving in the car listening to 104.1 KRBE she heard an open call for being a DJ. She almost didn't go thinking that it would be just a joke. The day of the contest she just happen to be in the area and said to herself "Ok just go see what its all about". She stood in line with abut 100 plus people, all there for the same reason. She was nervous and it seemed like everyone there had years experience in comparison to her. Finally it was her turn to be interviewed. As she was in the room they asked her many questions, it wasn't as bad as she thought. L.C. just let her light shine! They narrowed it down to the top 10 where another interview was conducted and then fiinally top four. The top four people were on the radio Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, Friday the listeners decided who won.
